I absolutely love portraits like this where you can see some sort of history in their eyes. She has personality and character. She looks quite like she was orphaned and living on the streets for a while, trying to get by with whatever means she could. Excellent for the roguish fate heroes I often play. Thanks for this one. ~ Dryn

Exceptional detail. The ear tip is not quite right but the subject matter is great. One of your best (and a lot of work went into it at a guess.) Looking forward to the next.

I've been around this site for quite some time and have found it best to just completely ignore the bashers and trashers like jerkboy. Don't give ANY response! Most of them are just looking for the attention they desperately crave and probably don't get in their pathetic lives. Usually if you don't respond at all to their posts they just go away and be an annoyance elsewhere. And to Oh I C, yes it's okay to say you don't like a portrait but some of his comments on other portraits are just plain rude and uncalled for. There's a diffence between expressing opinions and plain out bashing!

I'm sure everyone's heard the old saying..."Opinions are like butts..." Certainly, you're entitled to your opinion, but there's a difference between intelligently voicing one's opnion and being snide and sarcastic. Myself, I like it. She looks sweet, but a little exasperated...like she's saying "Yes?" with just a touch of exasperation.

Expressionless and rigid with pointy ears that make her an "elf." For a second there I thought someone had uploaded a shot from a Victoria's Secret catalog. ISJerk may have used the wrong artist for a comparison, but I agree with his other comments. Oh, and those are HIS opinions. He (or she) is entitled to them, no? Just like someone is entitled to say "Hey, I love this." Well, I don't. My opinion.

Mentos has some ok additions, but no, Mentos didn't create those. Nor do they fit in with the style of the portraits in the game, for what that's worth. I prefer portraits that are not Spawn or Drizzt or some clear ripoff of pre-existing characters, or something that looks like an uber-killing machine -- kinda tough to start at first level with that. More importantly, he doesn't credit the original artists. Oh, and Jerk? Every NWN portrait is actually a model that was modified digitally. e.g. Sharna is Catherine Zeta Jones. Anyway, this is awesome work. In fact, I think this one is the closest to BW portrait style that I've seen yet. It's legible in all sizes and has definite personality. Keep up the excellent work.

To Mr. Jerk: There are lots of people on the vault who actually love this style in portraits, counting myself, whatever your personal opinion must be. Ashlander's portraits are amongst the ones which get the most downloads, so that should tell you something. And lazy?? Ashlander puts a lot of work into his/her portraits, it's clear you have no idea of what you are talking about. Keep up the good work Ash, it's much appreciated :)

The choice of neckline is, well, interesting and impractical for, say, a mosquito infested marshland, but the overall quality is excellent and the style close enough to the original as to remain in line with official portraits.

um...InsensetiveJERK, Mentos doesn't do the portraits, he finds art off the net and merely crops them for your use. nothing wrong with that, but your making an unfair comparison. i like this portrait, the clothing is good, and the rest is really well done, too. this could have many uses. rating: birdie
