A "goofy black cat," Yamabushii? Surely, you jest. Cats are independant and aloof (much like the Red Wizards) so logically he would demand a more servile and obedient pet... say, a fire-breathing Hellhound perhaps?

The blood around the hand detratcs from the portrait. perhaps a fireball or glowing magic power. Or nothing at all, just the arm. But that's my preference. It's still an amazing piece of work.
