This is crazy. Thinking of the portrait i made of Apricane a while ago, and seeing this now. Its crazy. I cant believe I actually made this. Man! This is by far the best portrait I have made! Notice the silver hairs in his beard.. Crazy. Please, leave a comment. :) And enjoy this portrait!

very nice work....my favorite of yours yet. the beard is a little flat (the beard should have a "darker" side to fit with the shaded portion of his face), but i like the technique. it looks exceptionally great at the smaller sizes....good stuff.

Oh Apricane! This is very nicely done. Just enough brushwork to make it painted without losing the details or the quality of the lighting. I DO like what you did with the beard! You're still a *teensy* bit weak on the clothing yet, but it is a definite improvement. I'd like to see more definition where the shoulder is against the background, just make that line a little crisper to match the same crispness on the ear. (Sorry I've not been around in a while. I've been working on my own website and doing some other art that is non-NWN-portrait related. But I've got some stuff in the works.)

I think I agree this is your best one. The beard is very good, and you even have some nice texture in the clothing. Good job! The rims of the glasses look a little flat, though. You might want to try darkening the edges a bit more. The glass part is good.
