This one was a very quick paint, based (very loosely) on an old photograph of myself. Innocent (or not so innocent; you decide) village girl type. Useful as an NPC. I hope she finds a good home in a module somewhere. :-)
Update: Eyes fixed properly this time; also added some shading and additional definition to the face. All files resaved in proper tga compression. New files replace old files.

Whoa, this looks eerily simliar to a character of mine. Very nice job! The look on her face is what makes it really stand out, she looks really peaceful. It's nice to see portraits that look like average people, that don't just have the same run-of-the-mill facial features that you see on half the portraits around here.

This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 18 that made this score of 7.17 then rounded to 7.

Trolls suck. Your portrait doesn't.

Excellent artwork. Good to see someone can stand to not make a picture of the future savior of the world. ;)

Very nice. I like quite a few of your portraits. Very well done. :)

Great! This is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!

Ignore the bashers! They're just looking for attention of any kind because they get none in the real world (except for getting beat up) and lack any talent or maturity to make any positive contributions to this community. Giving their coments ANY kind of attention (even bashing back) just fuels their pathetic needs. Ignore them completely and hopefully they'll go be a nuisance elsewhere.

Great tweaks... El Agua's right, the neck is much more feminine now. Love that little mini-smile. Her right eye seems a little lighter and less distinct than her left... cataract perhaps?
Keep up the good work!

Her left eye still isn't on the same "line" as the right, it's above. With that little tilt of the head, that's a VERY easy mistake to do, I do it all the time. Having said that, this isn't without precedent, Shannon Dougherty the actress (90210, and no, I never watched it, but I don't live under a rock ;)) has this same "quirk." So do several others I've seen. So, no big deal. With the power of cut & paste, you could actually have a couple of versions, one "as is" and one with the eye lower.
Other than that, this is terrific! I love the hair and the neck is now MUCH more feminine and less muddied. This should make its way into the NPC portraits section of anyone who's working on a mod. VERY nice job!

Take the highlights down a bit 30-50% to change the feel to moon/starlight and contrast up a little and the shadows will look better. See what you think?

Yeah, the eyes aren't right. They sort of are looking into some sort of alien space somewhere (yiee). So I've gotten enough good feedback to fix the lighting on the neck and I'll tackle the eye issue while I'm at it. I think I'm going to have to erase them and just redraw them completely. :-)

The eyes scare me.

Nice portrait. Gotta agree that there's a lot of "polarity" in the portraits that get posted... barbies and tough chicks. Nice to see some more "average" folk. Here's my 2 cents for improvement, take it as you will.
Love the hair, good smile... both tough to get right. I think the left side of the face looks a tad wider than the right? Maybe slim it down or shade more on those edges. Also, left eye points up, right eye points down looks a tad unsymmetrical. The neck is maybe a bit long, I think, for the size of the head. Hope this helps!

Hi G'windinel,
Thanks for your much more constructive comments. :-) Guess for some reason I attracted the trolls this time. Ah well, it happens. I was hoping you could give me some insight on the lighting on the neck. I did it without a reference (in the photo the neck was covered) so something doesn't seem quite right about it, though I'm not sure how to correct it. Let me know!

Hi gyrfalconthegray.
Good stuff.
Nice brushwork.
The detail in the hair needs to go slightly further back on her right side?
Why do people comment and not leave a name.

Do not be furious but this woman resembles to a man with a wig. It's only my opinion. :)

Very nice picture. The features are outstandingly well done for some of the other things that are on the Vault.
