I made this portrait as a tribute to Yoshimo, whose tragic fate made me sad for some time. I hope it will honour the wonderful character he was. Yoshihiro is a rogue, and was created for Verasia RPG. Let it be known, for I do not wish anyone to claim that Verasia stole my art and put it on their website.
Update : I uploaded the pre-final portrait (my mistake), this one should look a bit better.
He looks great, hon! It's nice to have a bit of variety for he site. Thank you again and again!

Nice version of Yoshimo although not my favorite version. My favorite actuly wasn't meant to be Yoshimo at all although it is the same theme (asian guy with a beard and two swords on his back). Any chance of a tribute to Kivan or Aerie my favorite charachters :)?

Ok, TIME OUT!! You and everyone at the vault already know that you're one of the top 3 artists that contributes just about weekly, and it is known that you don't do very many male portraits... but this... THIS!!!! I have yet to see any artist in my life capture the qualities of the orient so well. From the mustashe to the wrinkles in hs cheeks. The portrait speeks for itself. I give up. I surrender.. I SUBMIT to your talent. You have outdone yourself beyond beleif. I would say it would be impossiple to top this portrait, but I dare not chalange your authority. ALL HAIL AMALTHEA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the line is fine. The sun is shining on the back of his head after all. Great work! ;) That is all -The Dude

I like it. Yoshi was quite a nice character in BG. One thing that was great, his speaking - hehe :-D that and some of his conversations with others. :-) Anyway, good portrait! Good detail! Jasperre

I like it. I think it's better than the original BG2 Yoshimo picture.

Very nice work! Great expression, nice lighting and color, and I particularly like the detail in the clothing. The white line at the right edge of the neck is rather "hot." It should be darker--the rim-light is on the opposite side. Minor detail in a very good rendering. --sb

This portrait captures the essence of the character perfectly, and also looks less like Lee van Cleef than the original. Brilliant.
