This is another portrait created for Dark's Upcomming module 'Eye of the Beholder' - coming soon. This started as a screenshot from the toolset so I could get the model's head right - then painted over top. Added the axe & arm, belt, background, more hair, chainmail, slight mod to the armor, etc...
Good work. _________________________ .Robert Project Lead, DLA Link

Thanks for the great comments :) I'm not sure what I prefer to do in game models or from fresh. Pros & Cons to both. At least from scratch you get the pose & look you want but it takes much longer to paint & you don't macth model. With the in-game shot its easier with colours, tones, & armor but you have to work the eyes & body/arms & often the pose is restricting. But I do like how your model resembles the portrait & how its a bit faster to do. As Rick said, I do have some more based on these shots & will try to do some others. Thanks

If I were to do portrait art it would be based entirely on in-game models. Unfortunately I've tried it and I didn't like the result very much. But this one nails it PERFECTLY. 10! WodahsEht
