I was about to post something similar on your other portrait commission... I looked at the artist's site, and it seems as if he sells prints of his work, so I don't know how much he would like to see it submitted here. Of course, his site doesn't explicitly state *not* to use his work, but still. If you have his permission, you should state so, and if not, better go ask quickly ;)

Just out of curiousity, did you get permission from the artist to post his work here? These are very nice pictures, but you should always contact the artist first before posting to a open forum like this. The reason is, many times these portraits that they have on display in their galleries are commissioned--meaning someone else paid for that portrait to be painted. Distributing that character here is still illegal without the artist's permission, even if you give credit.
Not meaning to be a meanie. :-) I just know how it is from the artist side of things, and any time you take something without permission it's um... kinda stealing.
So please contact the artist if you haven't already done so. It's courteous, and then you will know for sure whether or not you can post this here.
