Based on the artwork I added earlier this week. Priest/thief. Priest to the God of Dawn, Lathander. The Doctor is a quack who is balancing on the edge of evil. Created from base model Jude Law, added clothing, hair, background, servant boy, wagon etc.

I love this. I really do. It has inspired a character of mine.

I agree with some others that the glasses seem a little weird. The expression on his face reminds me of Nooj from FFX-2 . . . :-)

Definitely a keeper, so much personnality and a complementing background.
I'll never use it as a Lathanderite thought, the robes are too dark, but the person mentionning a Zhentarim wizard hit square on the nail I think.

You're right though, he isn't evil ... yet. But in Ravenloft it only takes little to turn you for the worse.
The embroidery is not my work sadly, it was a painted picture I used it from. It was the backcloak of a wizard from a D&D book but I just cut it up to pieces and fitted together for an entire robe. That's all the credit I can take for the robe. Oh, and I did recolour it :D
Thanks :)
Oh yes, the doctor does forget to feed the boy sometimes. Poor thing ;)
hey I just stumbled on to this one. Really really cool. He doesn't look that evil to me, just looks like an arrogant a--hole. I love that cloak and the designs on it. you must have put in a lot of time because a good portion of that embroidery looks like you did it from scratch.
It is hard to compare your stuff to anything but more of your stuff, so I will say that this is in my top three favourites so far.
I'm not even bothered by apprentice boy's skinny neck. the Doc should feed him better.

This is absolutely an awesome portrait. My husband has a character in our paper D&D game that this portrait fits perfectly (he's a crazed, power-hungry navigator/Lore Master on our pirate ship. Just the kind of person you want guiding you, eh?)
Great work!

Bonus points for originality. Just the right blend of real and creepy. Love to see a char like this in a game. Good job!

Great overall look ... I love portraits that have a good overall pose with a great face closeup too, and this does that well.
The face and hair are great ... love that gaze! ... but the glasses are just a bit too 20th century in their shape for me.
The robe is beautiful in overall shape and color, but does look a bit phony in it's lie over the arms.
Very interesting background. I think the servant boy is almost a bit too distracting, but maybe that's kinda the disturbance you were looking for ...
And very original! I know lots of plyers who this would suit.

Love it, I do agree the glasses look a bit out of place though, but as it was required what can you do. Any chance of a seperate file without glasses?
