I checked and saw only 7 female gnomes on the vault which I thought was a shame, so I decided to make one. And because there are so few around I figured I should make a more generic gnome so she's more usable. Gnomes have big prominent noses, pointy ears and love fine clothing and jewellery, -so there you are, a stereotypical gnome ;-) This was another photo I couldn't resist, I love the playful and mischievous look on this woman's face :D I found it in this stock gallery: http://sis-stock.deviantart.com/ Enjoy!
I have to say that I love this picture! It's true there are a couple things that make it look a bit odd but I love the expression and colors. Excellent job!

Crazy, mad orange then!

And why is that? It's a very natural gesture for a playful/mischievous (or coquete for that matter) woman, and I'm sure it has been so for centuries, it's an automatic thing :P

I like it. Very flirty. Although the tongue stud is a little anachronistic. :p Oh, and just a little FYI: Bozo has scarlet hair, not orange. My hair used to be real bright like this, but with age it's dimmed down to a medium chestnut with blonde highlights."Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave _________________________ Me go beer!

That tongue is exactely one of the reasons I loved the portrait as it makes her look like such a rascal. There are quite enough of pretty girls with blank facial expressions around :) Don't you guys have any humour at all? Sheesh... Balgin Stondraeg: I checked 3 places just to be sure about gnome appearance, 2 said they have "pointy ears" one just said "large ears". I therefore assume pointy -or large ears is the "norm". And doesn't all the bioware gnome portrais show them with pointy ears too? Can't remember for sure but I think so. I don't know why you'd think the neck is awkward, it's the actual pose in the photo, I didn't merge a head with someone elses body. Again, I think the pose made the portrait more interesting. I love unusual angles they make you look twice at a pic. I can't stand portraits where the character sits/stands straight with a somewhat blank facial expression. Me for one like to see something in their faces whether it be evil, sadness, mischief, humour or rage. Because then you have a much more believable character to play with. Just my 2 cents.
