Caedmon is a warrior from one of the northern lands, maybe a chieftain? (Caedmon is a celtic name and means 'Wise Warrior') He does look kindof noble, and it looks as if he's having a reflective moment there. The photo was found on a ren faire page but is heavily edited. The pelt came with the original photo but covered more of his body so I cut off a chunk and did some paintover to make it all add up. I also painted the hair as I wanted it much longer and blowing in the wind. I also had to paint in his eyes as they were rather 'washed out' and would have disappeared in the in-game portrait. Everything else is added. Chainmaile, bracers, gorget, sword etc. and of course the back.

Great for Barbarian and Nordic type warriors. I have used this portrait so much now it feels like my character not your portrait!
Thanks again for the stellar work.

Excellent work. I actually like the 'odd' color of the pelt... gives him an other-wordly quality ...

The small picture is perfect, the bigger one slightly less perfect.

Wow! Those were my exact words looking at the small pic (yes the small one again). :)
But when I opened the big picture I was less impressed. Something in the superb smoothness of the little picture went lost in the large one.
But I totally love the little picture. What quality!

I agree that the colour of the pelt might look slightly off but he was standing in a rather harsh/white daylight, and the house behind him had alot of blue and green paint and flags, I think that's why the pelt has this colour. But I liked it this way as I felt it was very suiting as he's from the northern lands so I didn't want to change it. I'm Norwegian myself and the light here during winters IS very cold, harsh and slightly bluish/white so it felt somewhat right even if it looks wrong, heh. There's something Viking'ish about him me thinks :D

I really like his face. The fur pelt seems a strange color but his face and hair are awesome.
