First I must say THIS is not PORN. Nudity? Yes. Should it be rated for adults? Yes. But the portrait itself fits with the NWN game. The background is nice and you can see she is a mage of sorts. If the picture is stolen I do not agree with that. But my rating is on the picture alone and not if its for adults. If you have a problem with nudity report this to someone.

Gothgal - I for one have to back you up. Yeah, the background is nice, as is the flame--however, there should be at LEAST a mature rating or a disclaimer of some sort on this picture. As a male, i too find it tiresome to see "endless scores of topless women on game sites." I hate to say it, but most people in dark dungeons playing around with magic and surrounded by demons tend to wear at least a little bit of clothing.
Peregrine--you at least have to realize that what was acceptable for art then is different than what is acceptable for art now. I appreciate art, and I've been to the Louvre. This isn't the louvre, and this isnt the met. Don't tell me otherwise.
DarkLegion--how is one supposed to supervise what our children see, if it isn't marked as such? Suddenly, there's nudity by and large on the screen. I have to admit that I was quite surprised by it, and not in a terribly pleasant way.

That has been noted. See several posts below yours. The artist's name is Luis Royo, according to his official website.

In case anyone hasn't noticed, this is a picture from a fantasy artist named Royu (spelling is wrong on the name.)

First of all I would like to say that I would not use this portrait, not because of the nudity but mostly because I feel it is not suited for the game, and I would not know how to fit a character with it. What I do mind is that the note that goes with adding a portrait specifically states not to upload fantasy artists.
I , being female myself, make portraits sometimes of ladies in not much clothing, but I think the female body is beautiful, so I don't mind showing it in portraits and usually it is useful (like Imphara, the succubus portrait).

This qualifies in my book as stolen art.
Next time, get permission or do your own work.

I'd be VERY interested to see the breakdowns on the relationship between gender and objection to this portrait (on the grounds of nudity, etc.). I strongly object to the way women are so often portrayed in RPG and fantasy art (or "art"), as though their sexual features were the most important thing about them.
This portrait has its good points, but for me they are eclipsed by the gratuitous nudity. The subject's nudity does nothing to advance her character or suggest anything about her skills. I imagine the men on the vault would object if people started posting pictures of men that focused on their sexual organs, whether or not they were technically covered.
And the whole issue of stolen art? All I'm going to say on the subject this time is that if this art is really stolen from Royo, the poster should PRAY nobody gets that litigous itch.

This work was done by Luis Royo, and was just scanned. No credit given to original author.

It's just a scanned Royo, so I'm lowering my vote. Sorry, but I think you should at least credit the original artist.

Ack... should've read comments before I voted. Didn't know it was 'borrowed' from Royo.

DarkLegion:
I hear what you are saying, but just because you and others accept the inevitability of porn doesn't mean I should. Its tiresome as a female to see endless scores of topless women on game sites. I'm entitled to my opinion, just as you are.
I stand by my original comment: this file should have a mature rating.
G-Gal.

PeregrineBF: Royo's work objectifies women. Nudity in his art is gratuitious. Sorry, we're going to have to differ on what is considered porno. And no, I'm not a prude, but I'm sick of seeing portraits filled with T&A.

Sorry, women wear clothes. You could at least credit the original author.

This artwork was stolen from Luis Royo's work. It was in his book "Secrets".

Sorry. Not a big fan of gratuitous nudity and porno. =-( There are minors viewing things on the vault! This file should have a mature rating at least.
