I wanted to make a female paladin who looked determined and righteous but couldn't find a suitable sourcepic so I took the photo myself :p Tess, the model here, wanted me to make an elf out of her but I had planned on making a human so... I made two versions of the same portrait :) Merged 6 photos and a serious amount of paint ;-) The name Gilda means 'Servant of God' which I though was very appropriate for a paladin :)
Foiled again!! i saw this portrait about 5 days after i made a blonde human female cleric that this would be perfect for. i think this could work for cleric or paladin. one thing i always wanted to know about paladins, why do they always stare off into the distance? i think im starting to ramble again, so, nice work.

I like the lighting. It's quite different. Nice use of gauntlet lames for the spaulders. :)"Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave _________________________ Me go beer!

Nice portrait. I agree with Sagadur. She sure has a strong jaw, but she really needs a nosejob ;)

As soon as you see this portrait, you think, "Paladin". I've never yet seen a portrait that is so strongly identified with a class--and it fits in with BW's work. Great job!

I think she definetly does look determined and righteous. Additionally she doesn't look that fragile as some other fighting women and her face has it's own kind of beauty but isn't delicate (which woul be inapropriate for a paladin with strength).
