OK. This one was started from a stock photograph, though I changed just about everything about it except the guy's face, and the general setting. Lighting, clothing, snow effects all painted in PSP8. Carrioc stands watch on a cold snowy night, a keen eye across towards the mountain wastes... Hopefully useful as an NPC, or a general fighter type.
Well done as always, Gyr. This is one of the few male portraits that I've downloaded- it was just too beautiful. Keep up the great work!

Hrm... the length on the arm should be right... his hand's falling to the correct spot on his thigh... Perhaps it looks that way because of the glove. As for the tunic... *sigh* well, see I'm not really much of a costume designer. And besides. In medieval sort of times, having a nice well-woven wool tunic dyed in blue would mark him as being fairly well-to-do. He does have a bit of wealth because he's got a bronze broach to clasp his cloak, and some nice tooled leather on his scabbard. (So... there's my justification for not being fancy.) ;-)

I like this. Some constructive criticism? The right arm an the tunic need some work. The right arm (behind his body)looks a little stunted, and the tunic's a little straight and plain. Otherwise, excellent work.
