The God Shirai is the god of power. I tried for a more 'painted' feel this time, but I could've overdone it. Still a photo-collage, but I used a lot of new filters and stuff in my upgraded version of PSP 6. Base image: Keanu Reeves, added clothing, staff. He could be used as a cleric, or some sort of priest, maybe a thief. I wasn't sure about uploading this one, but since this will be one of my last additions to the vault I thought: why not. Input is appreciated. Update: I don't know what I was thinkin but Shirai is the god of power and NOT battle. Must have been sleeping.

I've taken a look at your other stuff, and this is definately your best - i liked it so much i ended up making a PC AROUND the portrait for Toril! Whenever i wonder what the character would say or do i just look at the portrait, and it says it all :)

This is excellent. I much prefer the painted look to the straight-collage look. There might be a bit more stray brushmarks here than some of the Bioware portraits, but it'll still work well as an NPC shot. The best part is that I don't immediately see Keanu Reeves when I look at it!

I like it, wasn't positive that it was Keanu until reading the post. My only gripe is that the eyes sort of kick away the hope that he'll blend in with a crowd real easily, I suppose he can always put the hood over his eyes.

I voted a 9 because I think it is a picture wit a godlike aura about it and the picture itself is godlike.
so i vote godlike...godlike...godlike...godlike

Getting votes is a nice way to see what people think of your work. But it's so damn pointless if people vote below 5 and don't explain why.
Especially a 1, if the portrait is that worthless, then please explain why, and if that's not possible then it's just about being annoying.
I think I'd rather read the posts that people leave to help you improve a portrait, not counting the useless insults that contribute nothing.
Sorry about this outburst but I needed to say it.

I think he looks awsome. There is something eerie and spooky about him. I very much like this one.

Wat zeiken deze mensen weer, ik zou zeggen een echte god,
een ongeschoren look zou em meschien goed doen.

Most of the god portraits I made are for a story I'm working on. In my story, these gods walk the earth like the ancient greek gods, so they are not supposed to look too radiant or obvious, they want to blend in with the people. Upon closer inspection, there is something strange about them, but never too obvious. Besides: everyone imagines gods differently. If we all drew an image of the Christian god, would he look the same? I think not.
But anyway, as you state it's your opinion. I don't share it, but thanks for the comment.

Is that a god?? lol he looks too shabby for a god remember
a god has to like divine never human (first impression has to be wow that has to be an image of a god or sumthin...
and his expression should be as if he had world in his hands...
