I tried to keep this one ambiguous enough to pass for either sex, but it still really looks like a he more than a she. Enjoy :) Oh, and I promise the next version will be a traditional rakshasa!
I'd really like to see the photos of the air show! :D
Yeah, it is a loose secret that I have been working on a dynamic rakshasa race, although it is far from finished. I put it on a back burner to work up some dynamic undead, but now that those are pretty much finished, I should be able to get back to the rakshasa."Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave _________________________ Me go beer!

This could indeed be a possibility my friend! My only currrent drawback is I do not have studio max. I have studio maya. Doin g the models is not the problem, its converting them over to .mdl format!!
I would however like to see Mr. Dave's modeled before mine, as I truly admire his work. Ok, here we go again!! "A life without honor is no life at all"

Urk. The last post should have read, "ICENLORD, where do you get an oil painting filter? I want one! Is it standard with PS or did you get it separately?"

Hmm, I have been hitting my stuff with either a 40% water color or an oil painting action. (lazy, I know) Problem is that I am never satisfied and I keep flip flopping on my styles. Everybody here is an inspiration in one way or a another. "A life without honor is no life at all"

wow! this really is well smudged. Looks just like a painting.
A quick and dirty way to get the fur on a photograph halfway done for a portrait is to copy/paste in your fur areas as a second layer on top of themselves, and hit them with either smart blur set at 3/25 or anisotropic diffuse, which ever looks better (usually the diffuse), and then change the opacity of the layer to 50%, give or take. This will easily cut an hour off of your smudging time, and possibly save you from making several extra layers along the way. :)"Me Go Beer!" - Mr. Dave _________________________ Me go beer!
