Assassin, Shadowdancer, thief, ..he could be any of those I guess :) Tried to make him look slightly closer to the Faerun elves than the more Tolkien'ish ones I usually make ;) The poor boy's face has been tweaked so much his own mother won't recognise him, lol. 5 photos merged and given a coat of paint, and the cloak I painted in myself. Changed lighting etc. etc., -the usual stuff.

That' a believable type and very well created.
I can imagine him lounging around like this at the thieves' guild.
Wouldn't an assassin be more successful looking like a run-of-the-mill innocent citizen, at least while he is on his "job" ? ;-)

Well, now that you mention it, you do have a lot of weird cut images :) It's just that when I look at my own earlier portraits where I used to have the modelpicture-style half-heads, I don't like them anymore. So I guess I just project my own personal taste here. I feel that it would make this one better if he had a whole had, but I also know that once you like your own pic, there ain't noone who can change your mind about it :) So respect to you for keeping him this way.
But you must know by now that I love pics that are cut differently :D I think they make much more interesting portraits :) (Lol, actually, the source pic was cut even more, I painted in some)
I've noticed that fashion and portraits photographers love unusual angles etc. which I think is brilliant. But I know, it's a matter of taste as with everything else. I've noticed however that many of Bioware's own portraits are like this too. Some are cut so you only see half the face or the top of the head is cut off, or the character is crammed into a corner, lol. Good stuff. A year ago I didn't like Bioware's portraits much but they have grown on me. Some may be strange and ugly but at least they're good characters which is the most important.

Wow, wycked. I've been gone a while and just going through the site I notice all these gorgeous portraits you've come up with. Brilliant work, keep it up.
The only thing I would add to this pic is that his head hits the top of the frame which makes the composition a bit forced.
