I always thought the original Neverwinter pic looked slightly deformed...0_o Her head looked kinda like a bloated balloon and her shoulder was at a really painful angle (don't think you could actually do that with your shoulder). So I changed that a bit and re-colored it as well. Hope ya like!

This remake is perfect! I hated the original because her face looked so flat and just ugly. Her shoulder was jutting forward in a way that no one's should should, no matter what the posture. I love the expression in the new one. She looks much more forward and taking an interest in her life, whereas the original just looked kinda stoned. Great choices in recoloring her clothing. I liked that you kept her slender and kept the chest size down. Many remakes of this picture give her a triple D bust size that just doesn't fit with the rest of the image. Also since the original is most commonly used for prostitutes, the thin body fits. I imagine that most prostitutes don't get to eat much, and malnutrition doesn't help increase bust size. Another one for my override folder. :)
To replace the NWN version of this portrait with DeviantTrace's version, stick it in the override folder and rename it to: po_hu_f_10_
Keep in mind that when using this as an override while you play online, others will only see the original NWN version.

I loved this portrait and it does look better but i'm going to have to agree with Jebezel her face does look a little awkward and a little un-feminine. I would definately take her advice and try to make her look more softer and feminine and of course less cranky looking, the original was sexy, maybe you could try to capture this. The mouth does look like it is trying to capture a few flies. LOL! To unknown concerning your comment, don't be afraid to use a name, people do get upset with some comments but you can't make everyone happy! I'm sure jebezel won't take offence.
I would love to see some more work done on this portrait, I liked the original but disliked how small the eyes were.

I choose to disagree with at least part of the former post. Her mouth is ajar, but she seems to me to have been captured, image wise, in that second where, due to some annoyance, she's clicked her tongue in a "oh what the HeII"... kind of way. Or a sigh of exasperation. I guess, to me anyway, she just looks mildly annoyed with whatever ( or whoever ) she is looking at.

Nice pic, good to see some talent when reworking the orignals...
I'd just thought id say some constructive critisim...
you could work on the face a little, the mouth looks a little arkward its hanging open a little too far i think an closed pouthing mouth would be nice ... her face seems more square, almost masculine maybe soften the feature, more feminine eyes like the oringinal one but a little larger and make the nose a little shorter... It's very nice though, you have some talent.
Well i like the original portrait...the reason why her shoulders looked strange is that she is leaning forward and pushing her shoulders forward sorta hunching....

WOW! I can HONESTLY say, that I have never really given the original any second glances..... until now!
I was never aware of any deformities either.
Having looked more closely at it now, it is definitely true, to say that, that shoulder does indeed look pitched at a more painful angle. (OUCH!! *winces*) It's good to know that someone out there was able to recognise, and correct it.
In light of this, I am going to add it to my ever growing collection.
Whoever you are..... a BIG WELL DONE!
