Hi again Felicia...
I have no idea why you don't have a portraits folder there, but I suggest simply to create one. Name it 'portraits' and put the 5 files in it then test it in the game, if your able to choose the new portrait.
the .2da file is nothing you need to touch.
hope that works :)

hi again.. i looked in my NWN folder.. I have 'modules', 'saves', 'movies' etc. but no 'portraits'. in fact, the only place i found the word 'portraits' was in my NWN / 'source' folder' (there i have a .2da file entitled 'portraits). what now? i've never felt the need to download one of these portraits before, so this is my first time. any suggestions? thanx! F :)

@ Felicia
You should have in your 'NWN'folder (you find it where you have the game installed to) a 'portraits'folder (in a row with for example 'modules', 'movies', 'music', 'saves'....).
In this 'portraits'folder you have to place the 5 files unzipped from the downloaded zip-file
I hope that helps, if not you can write me an e-mail :)

Hmm, I think the ear looks fine- his hair is a bit "poofier" on that side so it just looks to me like the ear is under the hair.
I generally prefer less photographic portraits, but this is excellent work! :)
And thanks so much for the link you gave- I've been dabbling in portrait creation myself, and finding armour/clothing sources has been the most difficult part."I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul." (B.Watterson, Calvin & Hobbes)
Thank you all for commenting. I haven't recognized the glued ear myself but now that I know it I can't see anything else... so I'm going to change that asap :)
@ Karse Sozé: I'm not sure where I got all pieces from, but a good source is Link
