Created from Laetitia Casta's body and Liv Tyler's head.I thought the pixie portrait in the game was pretty lousy, so I decided to make my own. I went perhaps a little too experimental with the lights, but I also thinks it suits her. Flowers used for 'clothing' and butterfly wings for the ... well ... wings :)

This deserves a 10 just for sheer gorgeousnesss! I do agree in part with what others have said about 'pixie-ishness' because I see a pixie as being more elf-shaped and -featured, but as an exotic winged fey she is perfect in her own right.

I like it! I have a minor complaint which is a matter of opinion, of course. The face doesn't look "pixie-like" in my opinion but that's totally dependant on your view of what "pixie-like" is, right? =)
Beautifully done and the pixie city is a nice touch!

I understand now why some feel she doesn't look like a pixie. It's to do with the background partially I think. I meant to portray a pixie-city in the background, so she does seem normally sized, it is not meant to be a 'big city'as such.
But she can be used in several ways, I guess.

Pretty, but as others have said, she doesn't fit the pixie image. Also, the background image gives the illusion of her being normal-sized, which could be also why she doesn't come across as a pixie. However, she'd make a great NPC.

Eeek. I would find Liv's face much too distracting to use this portrait, but it is beautiful to look at.
Why doesn't she look like a pixie?
I based her a little on the pixie from NWN, although when you zoom in close to that one she appears to have a very creepy face. I decided to alter the clothing also a little, and the wings are more butterfly than the green spikes the pixie (or fairy) has in the game, but only to make her more fittable with the butterfly wings that came with Hordes.
Anyway, what I forgot to mention is that I put in two versions in the zip-file, where the only difference is that the _M file is more a head-shot in the 01 version, and in the 02 version it is more a body and wings shot, usable for the toolkit, where a headshot isn't really all that great, because then you see no more wings.
Wow, Phaere, that's absolutely gorgeous! Excellent work on this one. Absolutely reminds me of how much I love your portraits. Any chance you might be able to create something of the Legendary Valkyrie?
