I found this portrait because the model's name made me laugh (Camilla Vest), so I had to see what she looked like! I then thought it'd make a great dryad portrait, but it's turned out more elvish. Anyway, I'm not sure what to use it for yet, but I like it, so I'm putting it up here. There's a readme with how to put it into hakpak format if anyone wants to and doesn't know how! Comments/emails very welcome!
Typically I read the email about how to update this one straight after submitting the new one- but the new one should turn up soon so I may as well leave this for comparison! At least for now.
There's not much difference in the new one- it's just the eye really. I thought it was something that would make a big difference quite easily, so it seemed worth staying up late to do.

I'm also very curious about the new version.
Here's how you update your entries:
Select "Update Files" in the "Files"-section on the left-hand side of the page.
Then you select "portraits" and type your e-mail and the password of the portrait-file (sent to you by maximus).
The rest is trivial.

Really excellent model choice. I like what you have done with this.

I like it even a little blurry. Nice pose and colours. And for a dryad it's quite perfect, but I'm curious about the changes in the newer version!
I've posted a new version this morning, so it should show up soon. I would have just updated this one, but I don't know how!
Anyway, I've drawn in the other eye, and had a go at reducing a bit of the blurriness but I'm not sure that's even noticeable.

I personally have no problem with the blurriness. She seems to be daydreaming and the mood of the picture is quite romantic to me. So a little blur is no problem (but I myself was sometimes criticised for to much blur ;-) ). But besides that: I like it!
I guess I could try doing a second version- one with clothes! I'm not too sure how to get rid of the blurriness, but I'll give it a go (you should see that quality of the pic I was working from though!)

As an elf she'd probably be wearing some clothes instead of leaves ;) so she seems more like a dryad to me
The portrait's not bad, but it doesn't please the eyes either - it's too blurry and the bright/dark-contrast is very intense. I'd like to see her other eye for example. Well, I guess that's very difficult to change now.
More! More!
