This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 7 that made this score of 7.00 then rounded to 7.

Is it just me, or does this look very much based on Kate Winslet in her post-Titanic days? Hmm...fabulous portrait.

in defense of the makeup as well.... it wouldn't be that hard to come by... anywhere, anytime... the egyptians wore makeup 10,000s of years ago!
all sorts of berries and plants could work!

For those who does like make-up:
Maybe one could say that: since "The dyads where naurally beautyfull" they might have been born with the applaying makeup as a part of ther apperance (as a part of their skin etc...).
Just a thought :)

No makeup, group A complains.
Makeup, group B complains.
Remember - You can satisfy some of the people some of the time, you can even satisfy some of the people all of the time, but you can never satisfy all of the people all of the time.
I think the original saying said you can satisfy all of the people some of the time - but I doubt that you can. I don't think you will ever get 'everyone' to agree on something, someone will ALWAYS dissent.
In other words, make what you like. If you think using a model with makeup works for the image, go for it. If it doesn't, then don't. Some people will dislike it no matter what you do (may even be the same people all the time). Bbut as long as there are a reasonable number of people that DO like it, then you have created something that appeals to people and you can be glad - but don't waste your time trying to satisfy everyone, because you can't.

Zero,
I actually agree with you. Make-up is not predominant in ALL my portraits, just this last batch, which was in part a bitter response to people calling my non-supermodel models "ugly." I don't have an affinity for make-up. In fact, you wouldn't find any in my house. Thanks for your honest comments. I appreciate them.

In defense to the makeup comments...maybe it isn't makeup at all? Maybe it's her natural camo kicking in to mesh with the leaves? I could buy that. ;)

nyx, I notice that in ALL of your portraits, you have an affinity for makeup. Keep in mind that the 'beauty' of Dryad and Drow is that their beauty is natural. I think you should try a portrait of a female that does not have a collection of Fasion Fair.
I do love the leaves, though. Very nice indeed.

Why is the dryad wearing heavy make-up (lipstick, mascara, etc)? I would think make-up would be hard to come by in the forest. ;)

I really like the leaves and colors. So bright! Nice to see a different type of dryad rather than the normal springtime greenies. ;)
