It's about time we get some more handsome males here on the vault. How do you like this one? I wanted to create a handsome sorcerer, with a 'dangerous' twist. I think he is the kind of guy who likes to play with fire ^^ Keep an eye on my homepage! Its in english, and under construction.
Is it the tip of his tongue that is showing, or just his lip? Because if it is the first I think the expression is a bit too ... well I guess I can see your point here with the char and all but it annoys me a little, and I have NO idea why :) He looks like someone I would not like I guess.
The overall picture looks really good, nice atmosphere.
Your style really fits in with the game, that's good.
He was bare chested, yes. Well, nobody's perfect ;) Adding clothes by colouring is perhabs one of the toughest things when creating portraits. I dont think im very good at it yet. But considering that this was done with a mouse, Im pleased with the result :)True love means you don't care whether or not they wear shoes...

Oh, the model had a chin and jaw like that? Well, I guess he belongs in the "Real People" category. Kudos to you for choosing an attractive but imperfect model!
I have to agree with Olivia_Chillia about the collar-bones (and the burred hair strands). I guess it's the odd shading on the right part of his throat (his left).
Don't get me wrong: It's a very good portrait!
I also love it. It looks very Bioware, though you went from a photo. I don't understand how you people do the outfits. I assume he was bare-chested and you added the outfit. I never get them to look real if I paint them myself... :(
True enough :) The model appeared like this actually, it's anatomically correct. I think the problem is that his mouth is a little small. You want to know how I made the background ;)
I started out painting the background a dull brown color. Then, I painted on top of it with healing brush (a stone texture), and then i started dodging the highlights. And burning the midtones in certain places. thats really all there is to it :)True love means you don't care whether or not they wear shoes...

I'm torn on how to vote here. I really like the overall portrait. It has the BioWare style, and uses beautiful colors. (Hooray!)
The face looks a little childlike and un-developed around the jaw and chin. He appears to have no collar bone. And some of the hair strands are more blurry at the ends than further up.
However, the eyes are breathtaking. So much light! And the background is incredible. PLEASE tell how you did that. It looks wonderful. And the colors!
