Nime was created from a girl posed fighting (same girl as the one I used for my elven archer). Head model is Molly Sims, hair created from other source pic. Armour pieced together over original armour, other pieces added, clothing drawn. Background pieced together from several images. UPDATE: I changed the sword and the overall lighting to a warmer shade.
I love it! Though after all the changes with the sword, the hair still looks too stiff (I'm a girl, I didn't really notice the sword earlier :P ).
And Molly Sims does make a nice model, doesn't she? I also wanted to use her but I'm staying away from famous faces for a while :)

The sword did look kind of ridiculous. I hope the one in my update is better :)

I doont know why, but this portrait makes me want to play baldurs gate again :D I dont think the lightning in her face is that bad. Wery good work phaere- you are very skilled. Most of your portraits does, however, look a little to realistic for my taste, but that's not a critique. I really hope that these nwn style portraits can be used in nwn2 as well.

I'm glad you brought up these points, because they were things that were bothering me, but only slightly. I tried to use different light-sources but I guess I should've cut down on the blue. I will change it soon. :)
And yes, the sword did bother me also, I painted over the original sword in the pic and it did look sort of rubbery. Oh well, guess I'll start looking for a different one.

I agree with phaemoor. It's good but not as good as your other work. Her sword looks like it was borrowed from "Masters of the Universe". And something's just not right with the overall lighting (the face is too blue e.g.).

I like it but not as good as some of your other work. IHMO, the sword looks like the end has broken off, it looks like it should be longer. Also her hair at the end, near her breast was over done with the liquid tool. It's too bendy. She also looks too "pretty" (super model vs fighter!). I really like your other work better, but having said that, this is way better than anything I could ever do.
