Rayithe was created from several pictures. Usual photo-collage technique. I tried to work on the details in this one. Rayithe is the most evil character I have created yet. She is known for her bleeding eyes, and her vicious nature. Sources: base image of Xena with her horse. I added a lot of textures and armour pieces, clothing, background lighting effects, etc.
@ Selvan: I tend to agree about the hair. Except that women who live with long hair have a special sense of where that hair is at all times. Mine used to be quite long. Artistically the long hair makes sense. Practically...I would have it out of the way.

I like the horse, the woman's armor, the background, the color-scheme and the idea. I don't like the length of her hair (she could easily step on it), and that flowing cloth which looks like a kidnapped mermaid.

As usual the portrait itself is stunning, but I have to agree, doesn't really look evil. Looks more like her make up is running. maybe a bit more emphasis on the blood, and maybe a real haughty scowl on the face?
