I started out making a normal looking elf ranger with blond hair. But he looked so boring so I started fiddling around with different hair and face paint (NOTE: so they're not tattoo's :))and this is what I ended up with. Base image was a guy posing on Lotlorien armour (that's what title said anyway) and I pasted a model's head on it. Background pieced together. The style on this one is a little extravagant, a bit cartoony but I like him.

Okay, I guess I am going to change the title soon. He is not supposed to be a Wild Elf, he is supposed to be an elf gone wild. A normal elf, that's why he has warpaint on his face. Sigh ... misunderstood 2 times :(

He doesn't look much like a Wild Elf.He wouldn't have worked metal, his hair would be more bescraggled(yes that is a word), his armor wouldn't have wonderful stiching like that, and his bow would look more like he just pulled a bendy stick from the ground and put a string on it.For a Wood or High Elf,he's great. But not a Wild Elf.

Wonderful portrait, well just like almost every single one you made so far :-)
I'm especially glad each time I see a well made, good loking portrait for a MALE PC. For some reason I have about 5 dozen GREAT looking female portaits in my folder and just a handful of really good male ones..._______________________________________

Thanks for the comments. :)
He is not a wild elf, I see the misconception now in my title. He is a regular elf but gone a little wild.
And to the previous post: I didn't actually draw this, I just recreated a new image from several photo's. I did paint over a lot of areas but the base concept is pictures and not hand-drawn.

"Hmyeah.. he does have that look... but, it's very well drawed, where do you guys get the skill from.."
My only comment would be about the difference between the armor's texture (blurry, probably from a resize) and the face and background's texture (sharp).
My other comment, but this is really dumb - if he's a wild elf why is he in a barren canyon? :P Don't they usually live in forests?
Hihi. I'm half-joking with the last one.
But anyway, I'd slap him if I met him, I don't like his face, it's as if he's having dirty thoughts... LOL
Am I going crazy? It's possible
