Once again a roguish halfling. Yes, it is dark in there, I know. My goal with this one was to create a character who seems to be IN the environment rather than standing in front of it (as Phaere suggested in the Mountaindwarf portrait). Tell me what you think of him. Wait! Hush now! You must be quiet or he'll vanish into the shadows... ;) UPDATED: changed the filename for in-game usage

Absolutely perfect. That guy is definitely in character. _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)

Your wish is my command! So I changed the color of the blade to green, which is more appropriate since the blade might reflect the surrounding.
(I changed it only in the big preview cos I don't think it really matters in the cropped-down versions.)

Oh my God, why is he hiding there terrifying innocent adventures walking in the woods and thinking of nothing... *giggle* I nearly climbed the next tree..
Really, really great portrait! Perhaps I can convince him to join me.
small point: I think the blade is too blue, has to be more yellow

This could be an illustration in a part of a very interesting story and hopefully will have more uses than just as a portrait.

Great work! It works well as a halfling. The lighting and shadow look great, and I love his face. The only thing that you could improve is the metal of the sword, it doesnt seem to go 100% with the lighting, though that is just nitpicking (shadowed metal is hard to do I know, and it still looks good). All in all it is a great pic and I cant wait to see some of your future works.
