Ai, I see now my post comes across as if I really arrogantly meant you just only added a filter to a pic. That was not how I wanted to say it ;). I have no idea what steps you took prior to the filter but I in now way meant to imply you did the easy way out, sorry. :D
It's just not really my taste is all, but I see some people preferring it, and sometimes it can work out fine. Filters to me should be applied subtly. Oh god, here I go again. Never mind, ignore my babble :)

Yea, I kinda took the long hard road on the rendering. lol. I can see a preference for a cleaned up pic for some people, if not most, and it is possible to render/filter, without the specific effects I added. I was just kinda looking for that 'old' game style, if that makes any sense lol. Anywhos, I wanted it to be more than rendered photos, but I didnt want to make it look like I was trying to hide the fact the source was photos. It was a tough ballance actually. But fun to do non-the-less.

I personally don't like heavily filtered. It would look much better if you just smudge away the pixels, and highlight and accent the dark and light area's. It then already has a much better ingame feel than just adding a filter to a photo. I like the characters though, and the smaller pics seem less filtered, in look that is. ;)
Thanks for the reply. Tho, I cant claim the artwork, only the rendering. All pics in the 2 Non-Classical Pic sets are heavily filtered/rendered photos. Some obvious personas, some not. I found these 2 packs more favorable for use in-game than the classical ones I did, so I decided to share them, despite their source. I hope this doesn't rub anyone wrong. I have just been getting such great contributions from so many people here.
