Okay, before all you D&D rulebook fantatics start flaming me, I made up this type of avariel, sorry. I just thought an avariel with smoking clouds for wings, and having such powers would be really cool. (no they can't fly) Sigh ... I really should quit smoking some day ... :( But anyway, created from a female model from models.com, added textures, painted over different area's, added new hair. etc.

Horray!!! Finally the kind of portrait I like. Been searching for a new portrait to inspire a new character for an hour. Great work. Your portraits rock!

When I first saw this pic I immediately thought: "Yay, I found my new Aerie ^.^"
I know her hair is bluish black, not blond... but who cares? I certainly don't :>
One look on her beautiful face which expresses both innocence and youth and you just know it could be Aerie (though her outfit is quite dark).
Go for it, Phaere!! ^^ Without you I wouldn't have so much fun using the Shadowkeeper to edit my chars. Magnificent work, really!

Thanks for all the comments, I appreciate all the input. I have been thinking on doing some more remakes, but it is usually when I find a suitable picture I get the inspiration so who knows. :)

Love your portraits, you do make some of the best Phaere, and smoking...that reminds me I'll go smoke after finishing this d/l and post...anywho, was wondering since you've redone some BG portraits if you were planning on any others? If so how about Montaron? The evil halfling that followed the evil mage around. Either way, keep up the fantastic work! =D

Thank you for another exquisite piece. The smoke wings would have been interesting, but your talent is in the artistic creation of a character - the hair, clothing, touches to the face and expression. Really impressive. Glad I have the disk space for all of your characters (and others) :D

Very beautiful. I know you here this all the time, but your portraits are stunningly well edited and fit the game as if they were originally part of it.
I just thought: she would have made a great Aerie model also. Maybe I'll try that sometime.
Anyway; I posted her wings would be made of smoke, I did do that at first when the picture was larger, but her pose looked weird so I cut a whole lot off. It may seem a bit strange reading my description when in fact you can't see wings, but this is why :D
