17 professional artists, 50 portrait sets, the name of the piece, the artists name & their website printed on the bottom of the 'H' size portrait for that set. Almost every portrait was re-cropped to best show the art at that size; not 5 exact duplicates that have been shrunk down. Theres people with fur, wings, scales, feathers, horns & some I dont have names for, a orc paladin, musicians, spellcasters, archers, tough customers & lots of beautiful women. This portrait pack includes an RTF file telling how you can use a program like Irfanview to view all your portraits & weed out what you dont want. Meet the artists; Allen Douglas, Jun-ichi Fukushima, John E. Holland, Daniel R. Horne, Carol Heyer, Michael Komarck, Jan Patrik Krasny, Mike May, Monte M. Moore, Keith Parkinson, Chris Pepper, Steve A Roberts, Isaura Simon, R. Wayt Smith, Vebjrn Strmmen, Cathy Wilkins & Mark Zug. Kerlyssa, which portraits are you talking about that have multiple faces? I have several like that. Are you saying that the original source for that portrait set got garbled? For example, the H & L size portraits from the 2 frogs shown above but the M, S & T size portraits from a group of 'normal people'? All most all of my portraits are cropped differently for each size, so each portrait is usually a closer look at some part of the art that I focused on.
I did find some problems that I have since corrected (if the 'updated' time changes from Feb 3 2005 to Mar 21 2005), have you found something else?
Some of the portraits are from pictures that have more than one 'person' in them. In which case the H pictures are the same but the smaller ones crop around different faces.

Is the Phoenix project still in the works? What's the site?
Ok, the bad old file had a file size of 15.24 MB. The good new file is about 24.8MB. If you notice anything that is not right, post a comment here about it.
YES! I have been going crazy; checking several times a day, first thing in the morning & last at night to see if these were up yet. My first attempt to upload them on 12/23/04 didn't get received.
The description had the artists names neatly stacked. So, much for that :)

Some of the largest size portraits (the ones you only get to see when making the character or choosing to play THAT one) were left in the original porportions. I did that because the parts that would get cut out were just too good & YOU only get to see them once.
There's more incredible art out there than I ever imagined.
