I am probably going to get kicked right now for reworking Aribeth, but I couldn't resist. I find her portrait partially good. The armour is fantastic, the face I don't like. So I gave her a new head (maybe a bit young but I don't care) I painted in the armour myself after the original. It was murder to do, as I had to change the position of the armour, and all the details are very hard to get right. all in all I am pleased with the result. Maybe I will do a dark version too. :) Then again, if everyone hates this version, I won't. :D

You did an excellent job to capture Aribeth and her appearence. This is certainly how she would appear through the OC, with all the difficulties pressing on her from one spot to another. _________________________ @===============================================@

this is much better than the stupid NWN portraits... you need a job doing this sort of thing. you are a true artist. your portrait really does sum up Aribeth better, whereas with the NWN portrait she was more spritely and annoying looking- this gives her an aura of an elven paladin with a sad past. i love the eyes, btw.

I enjoy this one. I think she looks less like a cartoon and her facial expression makes it so much more real. Adds some depth to the character.

Great portrait, like all your work. You are very talented. I have to agree with Norgrimm, this is the sad and disallusioned Aribeth. At first I wasn't too sure about the way she looked, until I took the time to study her and realised that the reason I was unsure about the portrait was because the sadness in her expression. Well done!
P.S. Elves are supposed to look young (they are nearly immortal after all)

This is reasonably good. I don't like the head, the face doesn't suit her- I can't say how, though. And I thought she had dark blonde hair.
Also, the breast armour looks like it's hanging off a bit...
This is how she would probably look during chapter 2, barely holding it together.

She's lovely, and mostly, I agree with the work. It'd be right sometime into when she is paining for Fenton and questioning her faith.

She's fabulous.The head is not of somebody too young,remember,we're talkin' about Aribeth here,an Elf.So she's likely over three hundred!That doesn't matter to an Elf.They don't really start to look over twenty until about 600...

OK Phaere, I have to comment. I have just registered today, but have browsed the portraits in here for ages, and yours stand out at the top for me. You are an absolutely fantastic artist to be able to create the images you do, and I stand in awe of your abilities. Any time I am looking for character pics, yours are the ones I look to first. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Interesting interpretation of Aribeth, though it does look like her armor is trying to fall off. Though in the game, it looks that way, too. lol!

fk: I've got two more pics coming up soon, a requested portrait and a male tiefling. I'll also look into the dark Aribeth, maybe I want a completely new picture, instead of just making her dark, but then again, that might be cooler. I dunno yet. Thanks :D
