Amazing Art & Amazing Art 2 - http://nwvault.ign.com/Files/portraits/data/1104811931000.shtml) are the work of professionals. I have obtained permission from the artists whose artwork I have resized for NWN. Click in the picture of the fairy ready to take flight & find a woman defending home & family (her husband is bleeding to death at her feet?) against overwhelming odds. I admire spirit & there's a lot in here! There's the standard fare, races I have no name for & others that aren't in NWN yet - not MY fault! ;) The artists in Amazing Art are: Jonathon Earl Bowser, Ciruelo Cabral, Clyde Caldwell, Larry Elmore, Fred Fields & Lorenzo Sperlonga. Each 'H' sized portrait has the name of the artwork, artist's name & their website
"made a lot of sense, since amateur artist do their best to do something nice but they still don't stand a change against professional artists such as Luis Royo."
Well, kinda sorta; some of the artists in my portrait packs have the same, if not more fame or talent or whatever magic it is an artist possesses than Luis Royo & they gave permission. Other artists with less, refused.
The common reason given (both by the ones that refused & the ones that granted me permission) was their talent was being abused. People copy the art onto posters, trading card, backs of jackets, fronts of tee shirts & even dinner plates. That devalues or trivializes the original. One artist accused me of being such a person, at the time I thought he was paranoid but I have since then seen a lot of bad copies. :/

Luis Royo? Ha!
I remember I made a collection of portraits from pictures of luis royo, 130+. And when I finished, I discovered that I was not allowed to post it on the vault. That was sad but made a lot of sense, since amateur artist do their best to do something nice but they still don't stand a change against professional artists such as Luis Royo.
I'd be amazed and sceptical if you get the authorization of Luis Royo. Right now we have a very nice collection of authorized art to use on nwn, so we should be thankful for it. :)

Thank you.
Haven't you ever wanted to roleplay a character not on the available races list?
By the way, If anybody knows the current email to contact Luis Royo for copyright info, let me know!

I've opened them up and taken a gander, nice collection. Some are as the rude voter stated not quite useful(the Centaurs come to mind) but most are beautifully cropped to look their best during use. A MUST for anyone looking for good female portraits. Thank you for taking the time to size and crop these excellent pics!

Contains a couple of good ones. But also a lot of +blocked+ like centaurs and multi-people-portraits.
