Well, this is my first portrait, featuring my own rpg-alter ego Callian. Everything, except the head, is done from scratch. I'de be happy for any comment regarding the portrait.
It has some flaws, but it was after all my very first attempt =) I've thought about making a second version, and fix a thing or two. Thanks for your comments!
lol WyldCat. It looks like the burn tool to me. Try going a little easier on the shadows under the eyes, if that's the case. I don't know about the wound... I see a bit of scar tissue, if I'm not imagining it. The top is very well done, although imo you highlighted it just a LITTLE too much in some areas... does your character have a pointy chin? Good job, especially with the clothing. Keep rocking.

Scars aren't too badly done, but I am not a fan of collages.
A good portrait, but I'd prefer a version with the scars healed...as it is, I so want to force-feed him a heal potion.
He could use maybe a little dirt or 5 o'clock shadow though. He looks kind of like he's wearing makeup, and the effect is more 80's New Wave than medieval, if you ask me...
