It's been a while since I made this pic. It could have been in the piece of the body I used, but I think it would be a little too high for a bellybutton.
Í've got to sleep more and drink less I think. ;)

Are you sure that's not his belly button?! What with the positioning and all that's what I figured it was.
lol, uhhh why yes, it is a birthmark! ;)
No seriously, I hadn't noticed that spot before, but it could be. :D
Thanks

Phaere, I have a lot of your other portraits, and I love 'em. The chest thing is totally up to you, as the artist. Is the dark spot on his chest a birthmark, or his belly button? :P

Hey Phaere. This is a really great pic. Love the atmosphere and lighting. I think the comment on the sword is valid but all you have to do is flip the blade. The long curved edge on the top of the blade should be on the bottom that's all. If you redo the sword you may want to push it down a bit too so that his hand rests against the hilt instead of that round part on the handle. Otherwise great job!
Thanks for all the comments. :D
RIQ: especially for you ;) thanks
FairyDrag: I don't agree on the chest thing you mentioned, he's not a muscular guy to me, he likes sneaking around avoiding combat, although in situations like the portrait he sometimes is forced to fight.
About the sword: you could be right, I've said before I'm quite an egg when it comes to holding weapons and poses and stances. To me, it looks alright, but someone with a more expert look could see it differently. ;) I wouldn't know how it make the sword look better though. :D
