Finally I made another dwarf pic. I wanted to ages ago but I never found the right source material. This time I feel I've succeeded. I did a lot of work on his clothing, lower green robe I painted myself, other area's pictures, reworked etc. Usual photo-collage stuff. Hope you like my savage dwarfie. :D

A very Celtic-looking Dwarf. There aren't many good Dwarf portraits around. This is definitely one of the better ones.

Nice work, my only suggestion is that you move the axe so that he doesnt look like he was posing but acting casually.

Nice. Kind of like Braveheart meets Gimli. My only complaint is the funky clouds in the top left hand corner. They look like two flat pixelated lumps compared to the clouds on the right hand side which are a lot smoother and shaded. Oh, and why is he holding his axe upside down like that? Is it some weird dwarven exercise? It might be cooler if you just allowed the blade to rest on the ground or flipped it around so he looked like he was about to attack. My arm starts to cramp up just looking at it. :)

Yes I have been busy, I have been stressing so much lately that I needed to take a break and make some pics, it's a sort of compulsive thing. Can't help it ... must make ... portraits ...

Yeah you got me, he stole it from Gimli I guess. though the stick part I invented because it wasn't shown entirely, I redid a piece of the axe in the stick part, or handle. ?
