Allyria is a young, yet powerful mage. From her highpoint on top of the hill in front of her village, she sees the incoming goblins and prepares a Nature's Balance spell to bring them down.
This is my first attempt at Phaere's style of portraits - body made in Poser 6, armor pieced together, face from a model, hair from another model, and so on.
Oh, and by the way, the armored part of her skirt is not entering her belly, it's an almost white light there which in smaller resolution became imperceptible, but I had already flattened the image by that time and couldn't be bothered to undo everything to fix it :P
I agree with your comment on the sleeves only when talking about her right one (left in the image) because I had to fix the lighting and it didn't work too well. As for the hands, I just pasted clothing on top of the Poser 6 body, and the only error I made in both Poser and PSP is the hips. I made them smaller and they got too small. She looks anorexic but with a large chest. Rather weird. But overall, I'm happy with my first attempt :)

Very nice portrait! Just fix the problems that Phaere wrote about and its a 9.5! Keep it up!
Argh double post again.
One more thing: her hands appear a little too big imo and still have too much the look of poser, then again listen to me, I suck at doing hands.
Great portrait. There are a few things that still need some work. But the overall effect is great, I love the spell she's doing and I am particularly blown away by the background. It looks so magic and fantasy like.
A few suggestions: work some more on her clothing. The sleeves need a little bit more work, they stand out too much as pasted. The skirt looks great, bu there is an iffy point where it seems to be entering her belly.
Keep it up, girl this is good stuff. :)
Oh and you have poser 6? grrrrrr

It's very good. Except that "she" looks likes like a "he". In my opinion, I woould change the head of the model for one more feminine. Yes, the neck are is a little strange, as well as the left hip. Keep up the good work. Practice makes better! :)

Overall, the image looks very nice... especially it being your first attempt. Two small comments, though:
(1) The neck could use a bit more work. The neck area itself looks kind of strange, and it is as if the head is floating a bit.
(2) The skirt looks a bit too smooth at the sides. A few wrinkles and such would make it look more natural.
Still, as I said, overall it looks very nice, so please do continue. And I hope my feedback will help you improve future images.
