Nice adaption. Without wishing to wipe away the mystery, the guy in the picture is a good friend of mine.

The helmet looks so impressive because it is an relpica of a genuine Anglo-Saxon helmet found in York, England during building work in 1982.

The helmet is referred to as the 'Coppergate Helmet' and I believe taht it dates back to AD750-775. The wearer is involved in a historical re-enactment society and goes to great pains to ensure that his kit is of the highest quality which is why this picture works so well.

The castle does look to be Scottish but the guy is definitely english !

This is the first pale portrait i've seen of yours and i'm very impressed. he looks as if he's thinking something along the lines of: "what a wonderful day for a battle" or something. his face is thoughtful and he looks as if he would be kind to meet in a different situation.

I think the previous posters have already used up all the good adjectives, so I'll just say wh00t!

Slight Constructive criticisim: I bet that guy has to catch his boogers in a bed sheet. A mere tissue just won't do for a snoz that big.
