Wow, you continue to blow me away. This guy litterally oozes charisma. My only hope is that the quality of portraits in NWN2 is as good as yours.

For a wizard he not only appears strong, but also seems very dangerous. I'm impressed by the emotional projection of your characters and art.

I like it... and in speaking with Phaere I thought the traditional Mordenkainen had hair... Phaere pointed me to a link of a bald Mordenkainen.
This was Gary Gygax's Character.... Co-Creator of Dungeons & Dragons.

I think he looks great because he's not the stereotype mage -- very strong character.. and i don't really know how Mordenkainen is supposed to look like "in real life". Gotta love the name though, it's sounds so ripped from Kalevala! :D

Like I said about it already at DA, i really like the way the picture has a more painted feel.

It really looks like Mordenkainen, but the spell effect is a little cheap (for such a powerful mage), and some portions of the grass grows in very weird places.
Overall, the pic looks good, thought Mordenkainen should show "older" signs. To me, your pic seems to describe the mage like hes some kind of man doing a play in front of a theater crowd. (Its probably caused by the make-up around his eyes!) Also, I think the beard looks too fake. (Again, make-up for a play!) ;)
Still its quite good nonetheless. Maybe it was Mordenkainen in his younger years? ;)
