The famous Gray elven ranger/wizard Melf Brightflame.
I had not much to go on appearance wise so I thought up something myself.
Mostly painted, a few photo's and poser 4 in collage created in PS 7.

It's a real shame this one isn't the HoF, I think it definitely deserves more coverage.

Fantastic colour, dramatic pose and focus. The neck is a bit disproportionate, yet, overal, another great production. You have a gift! _________________________ "No matter where you go, there you are." - B. Bonzai

Yeah, I made up the staff myself. It was only later I read somewhere he always carried a spear and some other wand I think.
But I like this weapon somehow. :)

sorry to double post... must clarify... the staff looks more druidic than wizardly, and yes i realize he was a ranger as well

Melf as in the creator of Melf's Acid Arrow? nicely done, except the staff looks more like that of a druids than a sorcerer's.

I love it. Fits pretty well with the description from Gygax's Gord The Rogue books.

There is something funny with his stance--the hips a little thrust forward too much. Otherwise the execution of color and detail in this piece is well done as always. Clearly by the BEST portrait maker on the vault.
