This was supposed to be a quick edit/paintover as I was kindof tired of all my portraits and wanted to add a handful of new ones *fast* :D -but I ended up spending half the day on the pic, lol. The base is a screenie from the upcoming movie Beowulf and Grendel starring Gerard Butler. I kept the fur and baldric but painted in the leather vest/armour, bracers etc. I cleaned up the pic in various ways then painted over the face and hair and the rest to make it look better + enchanced the pic in a few other ways as well. Hope you like. (correctly resized and named JPG for use in Leto included in the zip in case you need it)
Nice, but too much different than Bioware standard´s.

This is currently my all-time favourite portrait on the vault. There's really a dire shortage of good male portraits and this one is just excellent, both technically and in content. Not too young, not too pretty, still handsome enough in a gruffy sort of way and despite some battle scars he does NOT look like some evil (or rather manic psychotic? ;) killer. Great for a ranger or druid as well. _________________________ With magic, you can turn a frog into a prince... With science, you can turn a frog into a Ph.D.... ... and still keep the frog you started with.

Mozenwrathe: No I haven't used any high fantasy martial arts photos (I'm not really sure what kind of photos you talk about really, or where to find them :p ) But I do have some portraits of non-caucasian characters. An Asian female fighter, one fem NPC, Nubian fem. rogue, Nubian male paladian and also a male NPC. I'm not much for babes in chain maille bikinis so you won't find any of them in my gallery ;)

I have a question for you: since you seen to enjoy doing up a lot of these images, have you ever taken images from the high fantasy-martial arts genre for some Asian/Orient portraits? As well, I was curious if you ever did any other ethnic-based portraits, as there are far too few of those (Nubian, aboriginal, Asian, et cetera) vs. how many dark elven/high elven "babe" portraits which pop up out there. Nice work regardless, which is why I gave it a 10.

Really a wonderful portrait! We have enough nubile, scantily-clad women portraits, but not enough quality male pics.

Great picture again wycked! Could even pass as a Ranger or Druid.

I love the lighting and warmness of this portrait. Superior portrait, as always. :)
