I don't download many portraits these days, but this one caught my eye. It is without a doubt a very sweet work. Back when I used to do portraits for Nwn, I had a hard time getting a photo to look like a painting without ruining any of the details I was trying to bring out. Some of my portraits came out good but some were horrible (in my opinion). I mostly do modules and prefabs today... what astounded me with this painting is that it looks so much like a classical painting; you cannot see the photo over the fantasy, yet none of the detail the artist was going for has been lost. In my vote, I mentioned the emotion this young maiden has about her, and how it is something not a lot of portraits do have. This emotion would not be quite as present if the photo overpowered the work, but it does not. Rather, it is very like you got an artist of the old days, sat him down with this maiden and said, "paint her likeness, but capture her soul as well". I like the Celtic- type air and quaintness the flowers in her hair give it, and I don't so much think "this is a goddess" but "this is a charming maiden" is closer to it. As a noble, she would never be haughty but kind and gentle, perhaps even more than a bit innocent. A princess perhaps, but not a queen. For this true masterpiece of emotion, I granted a full 10! Keep works like this coming, the community needs more paintings of such intensity and vibrancy. Big round of Cheers!

She is breathtakingly beautiful, and is a very warm-looking soul. You don't get this feeling in a lot of portraits, but since this one has it - the illusion of emotion, not just appearance - I give this enchanting piece of art a full 10!
