I wanted to create a male human rogue who had a good sense of style, and here is the end result. This portrait was inspired by several different things. A picture I found at models.com, and an outfit I really like from Guild Wars.
I would greatly appreciate any constructive criticism as this is the first portrait that I've created on my own.

I like this a lot. A style over brute force character. It's a nice change of pace, for me. Thank you! _________________________ "I Am The Land"

Cool! I will be using this as one of the male love interests in the mod I'm working on. =)

Angst-ridden nobleman? I like him...he's got personality to go with the style. _________________________ World of Aenea (Hall of Fame PW and the origin of all my works)

Absolutely love this and will be using it for Maximus - a companion for my A Time to Die Saga for NWN2. Thanks for the awesome job! _________________________

I've been busy trying to get the Romance Modules List updated, and I also got a new portrait (Anera from Shadowlords modified). I haven't had a chance to fiddle with this one again yet but I will soon :D
DM Mask, I see what you're talking about. Are you saying to make the light ray bigger so it covers his whole body, or to remove it completely? The original background picture actually had some very dimmed down light rays which intersected with his outfit. Oh..and from your first comment..I changed the outfit of the henchman I used this on (Dent from Harper's Tale). I couldn't get it exactly right, but I found an outfit that was closer than the normal outfits. I can post that information and picture if you'd like to see it.
Michael DarkAngel and Aessinus thank you for the detailed feedback on the belt/stomach area :) I am trying to figure out how to make it look better and your comments definately help. The guys in Guild Wars have pretty buffed up bodies that's true lol. I did not change the outfit at all, it's a straight screenshot from GWs. Once I have time I'll see if I can pull the belt out a bit and give it more definition to make it more "real".

I think DM's comment on the belt area is because the stomach is so flat, seems to need a bit of shadow perhaps to prevent a 2D effect. The model is probably just in shape.
Superb 1st effort. _________________________ Please don't forget to vote and leave feedback!

Very good looking pic. I'm glad you posted. As for the belt area the only thing I can say is it looks as though he's wearing a jumpsuit under his jacket. There's no definition to the belt or buckle. Of course, this could be what you were going for, and if so, then... Job Well Done. _________________________ Michael DarkAngel The Brotherhood of the Realm

I'm thinking the solution is to remove teh light ray, and try lighting the side of his clothing, but its way beyond me as well.
Seems kinda like the detail level decreases around the belt area. Either way, gonna link a friend to this. _________________________ Itinerant Admin: RPGModding.com - Where Modders Muster.
