I've now added a Portait for my character Kix Lightfeather, that I use when playing UNTOLD TALES OF TOLKIEN II. (To be found in the folder entited HOODED) Although this image is availble elsewhere on the Vault, I found the file did not work, and had to edit it.

Another thing: I agree with you, not all portraits are fit to be intergrated to NWN. I'm a fan of Japanese animation, but like you, I don't like the anime style for the game. Thanks for looking for quality portraits! _________________________ ADK

I know you asked yourself a few questions about copyrighted images. Personnaly, I always ask permission to the artists if I can use their artwork in my modules. I'm trying to make a big hak of my own for Kunoichi :) All the artists said yes but some images were sold to companies and they put a copyright on them. See, image no. 5 was made by Steve Argyle, one of the friendlyest guys I had the chance to speak to. This image belongs now to AEG and they selfishly refused that I use this picture in my mod. I've been sending many e-mails lately to a great variety of artists asking if I can use their images. Time-consuming, a pain in the you-know-what, but at least I'm sure I do things properly! I will give a link to their page and proper credit in my readme once the hak is done. Well, I don't know if it helped, but I hope it did!

Thanks for all the possitive response. However, I cannot claim to have painted any of these picture.
I'm a little concerned though, and was wondering whether using anothers art is a breach of copyright. Although these images we're all available on the internet and are not being used for comercial gain. Anyone out there know?
In response to ADK's comment about Oriental portraits. It was the lack of good oriental portraits that drove me to create my own in the first place. The trouble is, loads of the available stuff is anime, and although much of the art is good, find it doesn't really fit in with the almosphere of the game. It'll be interesting to hear your thoughts on this.
Nonetheless, I'll try and locate a few more for you.
