Original NWN, SoU and HotU portraits. Other players can see these portraits without having downloaded this pack themselves.
Originally I put this together for a group of friends on the server I play. They kept asking me where I got the portraits and how they were able to see them when they didn't have any custom portrait packs themselves. I thought others might find it useful so I added it to the vault.
The TGI (They Got IT) Portrait Pack is for players who want more portraits but also want everyone to be able to see them without requiring others to download. The portraits in this pack have been extracted from the NWN bif files and the CEP2 hak files.
There are a great deal of portraits in the bif and hak files that are not accessible during character creation. The TGI - Portrait Pack makes them all available. Just place the portraits in your Neverwinter Nights/NWN/Portraits folder. Everyone will see them even if they do not have this installed because they have them nestled in their bif and hak files.
One last thing...if the mod you are playing on doesn't use CEP2 then the CEP2 portraits won't be viewable by others.
I have seperated the portraits by type so that you can pick and choose what you want. You can also download all of them as one large file. I've included screenshots of my character creation screen. They contain most of the portraits that are in the packages.
There are male and female portraits in the humanoid and creature sections also. Some pics could have went into either category so I chose just one to put them in.
Yeah...looks ok...but just like the Krit said there are two very small .2da files that you can put in your override directory that "unlocks" all Bioware portraits. _________________________ X-Fire NWN1 guild page: Link

Very, very good. A portrait in there that I have been looking for for a very long time and haven't been able to find. I'm so pleased that I've now got it.
Please post info to use this file for Windows Vista. Windows Vista doesn't have file "Neverwinter Nights/NWN/Portraits folder". this file doesn't work in the "override" file either. _________________________ We had gay burglars the other night... They broke in and rearranged the furniture.
It's funny, Krit. I kept wondering why your name sounded familar as I was typing my comment. It's because about 3 hours ago I downloaded your cloak converter and was playing around with it. I'll submit my vote once I have time to play with it some more. :)
Re: "if others don't have CEP2, then unfortunately The DON'T Got It."
This goes a bit deeper. If the module doesn't use CEP2, then the CEP2 portraits won't show up in-game for others (even if they have CEP2, unless they have this pack).
Not a big deal (especially since the real benefits of this pack are the CEP2 portraits -- the BioWare portraits can be unlocked via a much smaller .2da override), but worth noting.
I can't take credit for any of the portraits. All I did was save someone else the time in extracting the files themselves and did a little organization to them.
I'm glad you found them useful.

Best Portrait Pack I have seen in a LONG time and everyone can see them. _________________________ No Matter Where You Go There You Are
