I love the card game Magic the Gathering and NWN so I decided to turn a couple of my favorite cards in to portraits. This pack contains 40 portraits.
I plan to release a pack of 40 portraits a month so if you would like to see your favorite card as a portrait just request it and I'll see what I can do. Also feel free to rate and post comments as long as they're in the constructive manner. Just let me know what you would like to see.
Disclaimer: I did not create the original artwork and I am not using the original artwork for personal or financial gain. The original artists are to numerous to list and if you are really interested the pack contains descriptive filenames so that you will be able to find the corresponding cards using the Gatherer at Link
With that said it took alot of hardwork to convert the cards into viable images for use in NWN. If you would like to bundle or use these portraits in your own endeavors please cite me as a source.

Nice Portraits. Too bad the portraits in pack 5 cause save game corruption.

I troubleshoot all the packs before I release them and I didn't experience this problem. I will see if I can replicate and solve the problem but I suggest you look on the Bioware Help forums for more information. _________________________ Link

I've been noticing the same problem as Dunmer, but it only seems to be on the latest portrait pack.
Which is a shame since all the portraits I like best are in the latest one. D:
A problem here. Every time I use a portrait from those packs and save that save becomes corrupted and game crashes every time I try to open load or save menu.
Great portraits nevertheless.

@007 I stated that I didn't create the original artwork. Also, I have talked to some of the artists at various Magic tournaments and they loved the idea and gave me permission to use it for this purpose.

Great portraits, although the cropping was sometimes awkwardly cheap.. Anyway I can get these into the toolset? These are perfect for my project.

Problem solved, apparently there's a limit to the number of portraits you can have in your folder. After deleting around 5000 portraits (they come in 5 to a set ya know) everything works swell.

I've had portraits pack 1 & 2 downloaded for as long as I can remember and they work just fine, but I've tried downloading 3 & 4 several times now and they won't work. Any ideas as to why? I put them in my portraits folder and clicked "extract here" like like I always did.

I love this pack. as a long time magic player myself, I like the inclusion of some of the elves and angels.
