hmm... my son just stepped in the room while I was view these portraits of nathyrra. His comments, "the first one looks like a Drow, the others look like smooth skinned little [child] elves." There you have it from my 11 yr old "expert". :)
I think the the pictures are well done. The original,IMHO, has a much more dangerous look. The others present a softer Nathyrra. I like the higher cheek bones.

For those interested, the "little girl look" is likely (at least partly) because the cheekbones have been softened, giving her a rounder face, and her nose is smaller.
Not sure I like the softer cheekbones -- high, well-defined cheekbones are one of the things that give elves their "timeless" look. And when it comes to Nathyrra's first appearance, I think something more dangerous-looking and less "young and cute" is more fitting.
Meh, nothing wrong with having well-made options around. And no one said this had to (only) be used for Nathyrra. But I still can't decide what this should be rated, so the author is going to have to make do with just commentary from me.

I like yours much better. The original looks like a gnome in drag. I disagree with the comments that she looks childish. The original portait may be a bit childish looking but you've improved it immensely. Good work

I agree with Berra, though Jamine does have a point with the 'little girl look'. Though I am not entirely sure why.
It does deserve a 9 however.
