Hello again. This is the third attempt at making a portrait for this character; Elenuial Craban-nim, the Sindar ranger of Mirkwood, for Wireplay's Untold Talkes of Tolkien II server.Link
She is a digital painting, NOT a photo manipulation, referenced from a picture of Renata Maciel dos Santos, when she was about the right age.
If you like it, or not, then *please* leave a vote and any thoughts or criticisms you feel the need to voice. I really appreciate votes and comments, far more than downloads. Thank you!

Now that I hear she is supposed to be an "elf teen", I am just going to bump up my rating a bit.

It's technically fine work, but I'm rating this a bit lower because she's not how I would imagine Elves in Tolkien's world. The model looks a bit too teeny-like for my liking. Still, I envy you for your painting skills. :)

Maybe a tad more definition in certain places. But this is a very nice portrait. :)

Lovely picture. I like the thoughtful look she has on her face, and the necklace and small embroidered details are both nice touches. I'm not sure what the grey-white thing in the left-hand side of the picture is. A tree? If so, it doesn't have much detail (but, I suppose, a lot of detail there might just be a distraction from the character). _________________________ KotOR Heads FR Deity and Faction Cloaks Fall-from-Grace Soundset
I'd like to say; thanks for the comments, I appreciate the new insight.
f&i: I see your point about body symmetry and definition. There is some difficult foreshortening in this image and it's a strange pose she is standing in; body twisted and hips forward. The material is as I meant it to be, ideal for hiding in the depths of the forest; a sort of soft, dark suede or velvet. Also, you are right, her right-hand shoulder could do with a couple of extra brush strokes to bring up a little, and I will see to that on the next revision. I wouldn't agree about the eyelid though. It's it is simply the expression she is pulling, like she has just seen something, or is about to move towards someone (in the reference photo she is holding a guy's hand).
bjdnwn: Thanks! i usually do have the subject looking at the viewer, but the reference photo I found for this was just too beautiful to ignore ;).
Shimmer& Dorian: Thanks for your comments; I see your point about her eyebrows too - they were a quick brush stroke made right at the beginning of the painting, and I didn't really stand back enough to see that they needed changing, but I'll take that into consideration.
In summary - thanks for your comments guys! It really is helpful to get feedback both about what is right and what is wrong, so thanks.

Really nice. The style doesn't look out of place as an NWN portrait. Love the hair. I think the bottom of the left eye is a little heavy - looks like she's got something in it. Also, body shape doesn't really come through with black clothes, I guess, but I think a bit more shading would be good. I'd say the body looks a tad asymmetrical, with more weight to the left at the mo.
