This is an official Forgotten Realms Diety selection process in a single Temple Area that contains the following:
(1) Temple Area
(1) NPC
(1) Conversation
(123) Scripts
It provides a fairly complete official Forgotten Realms Diety selection (104 Dieties). There are no Drow, Mulhorandi or Monster Dieties here, only the Human, Elven, Half-Elven, Dwarven, Halfling, Gnome and Half-Orc.
Simply import this .erf into an existing module and you will have it all.
It only allows a player to select a Diety or change that Diety based on player Alignment, Class and Race. It utilizes several Tomes to help players decide on that Diety and a basic description of each. It also helps Clerics to determine Diety choice based on Domains selected.
It does not resolve Cleric Domain/Diety issues other than to provide assistance. Sometimes a PC has to re-roll.
This is the process used currently in the "Adventure Realms - Forgotten Realms - Start" Module, the main entry module to all the "AR-FR" Modules.
I am glad you liked it 'crazedmages'. Thank you for the vote.
I did build the Temple too. Not ultra fancy but it looks good and compliments the process, I thought.
This is fairly easy to change or add too, as most of the 'work' is in the single conversation. Someone should be able to add any additional Dieties if they wanted/needed them by following the logic in the conversation. Hopefully it will save a lot of typing. ;-)

PS, I like the temple whoever built it. A simple build but a very effective one. _________________________ People react violently to fur rather than leather because it is easier to pick on rich chicks with bad taste than biker gangs.

A more direct response to your question 'crazedmages' is "YES" it will fill it in based on their in-game selection.
It is not possible, as far as I know, to stop a player from choosing anything they want while creating a character (within Bioware's Rules), hence an in-game work-around!
If a player creates a Character without filling in the Diety, this utility adds the selected Diety to the Player Character in game. It will not prevent a player making improper choices of Domain, however it does point out to them indirectly that certain characters like Clerics require a little thought in the creation process. The Alignment and Race options are provided to narrow selection down and the Domains of each Diety are shown during the selection process to show what Dieties/Domains are available. As stated, however, sometimes a player will select a Diety and Domains on Character Creation that are inappropriate, especially for a Cleric. At least the player will be shown what Domains are available with the Dieties in that Alignment group. A character re-roll can be planned out a bit.

Question, if a player leaves the deity section empty when they first make a PC, will this fill it in for them?
Also, I see it does not resolve domain issues but does it stop PCs from choosing domains that are incorrect? _________________________ People react violently to fur rather than leather because it is easier to pick on rich chicks with bad taste than biker gangs.
I have just updated the conversation to correct 4 typos. As far as I know, there are no bugs or typo's remaining. Feel free to let me know if it helps your module building out!
