Compendium of Equipment ? Instruments (ver. 1.0): This combination PreFab/HakPak contains over 300 instruments (120+ Normal Instruments, 120+ Masterwork Instruments, 50 Magical Instruments). Masterwork/Magical Instruments increase Bard Perform skill +2 when played. Instruments are divided up into String, Wind, Horn, and Percussion. The Compendium is easy to extend with custom instruments. The Compendium includes a dozen scripts to create instruments of all varieties and to create instruments as part of the treasure system of Neverwinter Nights. Finally, the HakPak contains 20+ custom Miscellaneous images to use for instrument icons in the palette. Feedback, bug reports, and suggestions, and comments are always welcome. Please email [email protected].
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 3 that made this score of 6.00 then rounded to 6.

Now you just need to incorporate this with the PMI (Playable Musical Instruments) system, and all will rejoice!

There are several different trumpet pictures. Let me know
how they work out for you.

Yay I'm gonna record myself on my trumpet and make a
trumpet item! Wait... there IS a trumpet pic in there,
right?

Raven
I am glad you find it to your liking. The system is
designed to be easily extended if you wish to add a special
instrument of your own. THere are included .tgas for icons,
and the readme.txt has instructions on how to name your new
instrument so that the scripts will automatically pick it
up and realize it's an instrument.

For my bard I shall give an instrument that fits just
perfect.
I thank thee and make my bard sign a tale for the legendary
instrument maker.

Well it's not really a module. It's a bunch of instruments
in the palette, some scripts and a hakpak of 22 .tga
files. The HakPak only contains new images for
Miscellaneous items (Instruments). You don't NEED to use
the hakpak, but you'll hvae to reassign the appearance of
all the instruments that use them.

So is there any way to get all these with out the hak pak?
I fear that If I was to DM this mod it would be practically
impossible. (well my mod with this added). Thanks.

I don't know if it's possible to add custom music to them.
I designed the Instrument Pack to be customized by the end
user if they wanted, so you can definitely add new
instruments, but when 'using' them, I just use the Bard
Song Visual/Audio effect. So you could change that in the
on_activate script if you want. Each instrument is
categorized as a string, wind, percussion or horn, so you
could check for the type and play a different sound I
suppose for each.

Yeah, finally some instruments to play, or sell. Music shop
anyone?
Is there a way to add custom songs to these with unique
sounds for each of them?
