Amulets Kits Necklace Other Items Potions Rings Traps Various Items
Description
This is the first in a series of Dungeon Master Packs. These packs contain everything a good DM needs to start an adventure 'off the shelf'. This first pack contains the City of Leer. Set on the edge of the Fell lands, this completely walled city contains 54 areas, over 100 NPCs, unique local items, shops and taverns. The city has a full factional system already in place as politics between the guilds is rife. Please go through the read me file to learn how best to use these packs! It is still a work in progress, and I'll post as the documentation is completed. Feel free to butcher any of the individual areas for your purposes as well if you wish, thats the idea of these pre-built packs. Now updated to include the DM Helper tools
You can find a gallery overview of all the areas here.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 23 that made this score of 8.52 then rounded to 9.

I checked out about 7 pre made citys after working on my own for 2 months now. Most of them did even bother to include all the doors. Of all the pre made citys I found, only 3 were good enough to be included in my world,. This was one of them! Great work!

This might be a stupid question. I have the prefab loaded
and working, but where is the read me file?

This may help your problem Chris:
The hard drive - free space thingy
Alot of mods have this problem. Just re-name the mod
without the punctuation in the name. Periods (.), colons
(:), etc have problems.
This is where the Version 1.1 comes in. Just get rid of
the 'point' part.

I know thats a known bug (the hard drive space thing) but
can't for the life of my remember which!). Email me the
name of the scripts that pop up as having the errors and
I'll see what I can do.
Also which area(s) is causing the problem?
Aside from the shopkeepers none of the scripts are
essential so removing them should cause any problems.

My bad...the files that are not compiling are includes.
Still getting the error that says I have insufficient disk
space when I try to load it up in the game though...I have
over 3Gb so I think I should be OK. Any ideas why?

The module looks great...good work.
As suggested, I have tried recompiling it to use as the
basis for my own adventures. However I am having
some problems...
When I compile the mod, a number of scripts come up as
having errors in compilation. When I try compiling in the
editor, it comes up with the following error:
ERROR: NO FUNCTION STARTINGCONDITIONAL() IN SCRIPT
If I go on and load it up anyway my computer complains that
it has not got enough hard disk space to complete the
operation. Id this related to the script compilation
problem? How do I fix either?
Thanks,
Chris.

Updated the module to 1.1 to include the DM Helper tools.
Should appear once the page is updated.
Also made some minor tweaks here and there:
++ Reduced and removed some of the onperceive speakstrings
so the NPCs shouldn't spam players as much
++ Added some more streetlights and appropriate lighting
changes to the Royal District.

Thanks :)
I am working on another update for this pack to include
some more NPCs and some pre-built levelled encounters for
DMs to use should they wish, as well as continuing to tweak
the shops and taverns.
The second pack is also coming along nicely, (Should have a
sneak preview up on the website over the weekend). The Port
of Tovak is a much more lawless place then Leer and is
an 'open city' meaning all races are welcome to live and
trade there....can orcs and gnomes live side by side?

Great job. Keep 'em coming. I will definetly use some of
this stuff. Two quick questions for you. How did you
create the map picture for this post? How do you create
maps inside of nwn?
Thanks, and I can't wait to see the updates. I think it
would be great to have a lot of custom potions, ales,
food, weapons, and custom interiors for houses. I get
very tired of building houses :)

The first version that is here is the complete city with
all 54 current areas. I am still adding more of the
background NPCs and some other locations, and would
appreciate any ffedback on what else DMs would like to see
in this (and other coming) packs.
The Read Me is a works-in-progress at the moment, I hope to
be able to provide full detailed documentation with each
finished pack so that DMs don't need to look at the module
in the toolset if they don't want to.
I'll keep you all posted as updates are available, I'm
aiming for teh first one to be on Wednesday (the 11th)
