A hit in the 1360s and 70s, long forgotten by powerfu magi. Gnomish mood rings intrigue all magic users, with their unique properties. While crafted from similar properties no two mood rings are ever exactly the same, changing to reflect the whims of the last creature to hold them.
Mood rings are a little trinket that when held (unique use ability), change to one of several varieties (4 currently), in a semi-random manner. This is meant to confuse dim wits whom may assume they can actually predict how the mood ring wll change. The system is easily expandable, or playable as is, more info in the .erf that is included.
This is a compilation of the old system into a single score. There were 1 that made this score of 10 then rounded to 10.

LOL that's too funny an idea, and now that you wrote the script I won't have to! I was going to do a similar script, although controllable through dialog to create true 'defender' weapons. Where you can 'change' the attack/defense bonus ratio depending on how you intend to be fighting. My only pause had always been that the weapon would always retain it's max enhancement bonus for determining what it can hit...but to reduce the magical dmg and to hit I'd have to create most of the copies with a damage penalty..and of course that'd push me to the limit on item properties rather quickly...ok I've ranted enough...with your hak I guess I'll get off my butt and actually make my defenders this weekend..and I might even post them! (if I do I'll credit you for any code I borrow)
